One of only two germans to crack a multi million dollar jackpot had just been made redundant when his company fell victim to the current economic downturn organisers said this Tuesday, what great news for the winner, a 40 year old bachelor who is said to be stunned at his €17.5 million win.
The gentleman can hardly believe that he could be struck by such bad luck and then good luck in such a short space of time and that the win literally ‘took his breath away’ when he found out he had the right numbers he was in shock and it’s no surprise after winning such a huge amount of money.
Though he says he will not quit his job, he will be taking his time finding a new position rather than just taking the first job that becomes available.
The lottery firm offered the winner advice on how best to spend and invest his huge windfall and as usual councellors are on hand to help him come to terms with his massive win. The gentlemans name has not been released and after winning the countries third biggest lottery win even he may want to maintain his anoniminity
The jackpot had reached a staggering €35 million and attracted many customers with the whole of Germany being struck by lotto fever.
The second winner to share the jackpot is yet to come forward and may well be coming to terms with his good fortune before claiming.
